About Me

Welcome to Larissa Surline Tattoos AND The Mystical Womb official website. That’s right, it’s a merger now! You may have been coming to this website before the merge, when it was just for The Mystical Womb. I think I made some pretty important changes, considering tattooing is my life, my pride and joy, and it’s because of that part of my life that I am able to have The Mystical Womb. 

So, if you’re new here, I’m Larissa, and I’ve been tattooing since 2008. I apprenticed under and still work with Jonathon Anderson of Sarenity Tattoo in Fort Gratiot, Michigan. He puts on the Black River Tattoo Convention and gives me the honor of teaching my Mystical Womb classes on site to tattooers and attendees for free. 

I started The Mystical Womb as a passion project in 2020. After learning in depth about the phases of our cycle and how they correlate with moon phases, and feeling that fire in my womb that told me I had to share everything I was learning, I couldn’t help but let the goddess take me on this path. And the more I talked to others about it, the more apparent it became that the menstrual cycle needs not only to be discussed, but embraced, and appreciated. There is a depth of knowledge here that can help us to thrive in life instead of going against the flow, and there is pain here that continues to be ignored. My mission is to help spread womb wisdom, support, and period positivity.

I have so much to say to you about our cyclical rhythms and the moon and menstrual phases! And even though I still have no idea what a blog is, I’m working on making those so I can share that stuff with you.
